[Bug 730278] Re: Xorg fails to start with fglrx in mult-monitor mode with right-rotated monitor
Same kind of behavior here :
* Radeon HD 4670 [RV730XT]
* Ubuntu 10.10 32bit
* fglrx from Ubuntu
* left screen 1920x1200
* right screen 1280x1024
I can configure screen with the catalyst tool, with the right screen
rotate left. The result is apply directly but when I boot (or restart
Xorg) the computer is unresponsive (like a kernel panic), no keyboard,
no network (can't ssh access).
Then I save a conf with catalyst tool without rotation and reboot : it
works !
So my workaround is to push on the start of my gnome session the following command :
"xrandr --output DFP2 --rotate left"
Thanks xrandr, I can dynamically rotate my screen and the result is
here.
