Sometimes, and without any noticeable trigger the behavior of the left button on the touchpad changes to what I belive i a simulated middle-click. In Firefox left click starts opening links in a new background tab, and the same thing happens in thunderbird when clicking on mail. Tapping the touchpad works as normal, it's only the left button that's affected.
This happens randomly, and persists until the next reboot.
