[Bug 755334] [NEW] Synaptics touchpad after some time slows, nearly freezes and becomes jumpy

 

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Some time (of random length: minutes to hours) after logging into the
Ubuntu the cursor starts to move slow, with delayed a jumpy responses.
Before that the touchpad works well without problems.

Os: Ubuntu 11.04 64bit Classic desktop (the same occured under 10.10 release)
Hw: Notebook HP Probook 4510s, Intel Celeron Dual Core T3000, 15.6" LED BV 1366x768, RAM 2GB DDR3, 250GB 7.2k, DVD, WiFi, BlueTooth, Webcamera, HDMI ... originally sold with SuSE linux. (VQ540EA)
