[Bug 401431] [NEW] Absolute screen position hides icons

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nvidia-settings

I have a TwinView configuration setup with both monitors positioned
absolute. The first monitor is at +0+0 and the second is at +1507+1080.
This configuration places the secondary monitor to the bottom and right
side of the top.

When I save files to the desktop, their icons are placed on the primary
monitor (the one at +0+0). For assistance, I've attached a picture of
my nvidia-settings dialog. As the picture shows, some gray space is
displayed next to both monitors. This gray space is still recognized as
part of the desktop, and when icons are added, they continue to flow
into that gray space.

I believe the icons should only be placed as far as there is a visible
screen to the user. This prevents lost or unknown icons on the desktop.

Thanks for any help!
