I can confirm this.  The display flashes and then usually only the mouse
is active, everything else is dead. No useful logs.  I try to
reconfiugre xorg and nvidia-packages and run nvidia-xconfig.  Usually
after some reboots it works for the day.... but reappears with the next
reboot.
