[Bug 401112] [NEW] NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i, upgrade of kernel causes NVIDIA driver to break

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nvidia-glx

NVIDIA driver causes a flashing of the screen, but won't work and doesn't start, this affects nvidia-glx-177, nvidia-glx-180 and nvidia-glx-185 (downloaded from website).
The driver basically just fails.
I am using a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i chip with Ubuntu Karmic at the latest version.
