Symptom : Working under X session, the screen goes blank and gdm relaunches. happened three times (two today).
went to dmesg and found this :

I'm using natty on three different computers since alpha ? (upgraded
from ubuntu 10.10), and the problem occurred only on this one (DELL
LATITUDE 4310) so I give you the information concerning the graphic
controller in use :
