[Bug 774274] [NEW] Screen goes white and freezes

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I have no idea how to reproduce this bug. It seems to be random, but I
know of at leas someone else who has experienced this problem.
de.html?utm_source=planetalinux&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+brigadesos+%28Snake%27s+Nest%29&utm_content=Twitter
(spanish))

The screen gets corrupted, and nothing can be done. If I close the lid
of my laptop, when I open it again, the screen is not corrupted anymore,
but the system is unusable.

The bug presented itself again while trying to send this report. I took a picture:
