[Bug 777539] Re: vga1 external output from laptop causes out of of range error on external LCD monitor when only the external output is enabled and LVDS is disabled
Well, I'm not sure why it's not working with gnome-display-properties,
or if it's a problem with gnome or its window manager. I went into
fluxbox, used xrandr and arandr to turn off LVDS1 and leave VGA1 turned
on, and it works fine.
