Message #127363
[Bug 780179] [NEW] package nvidia-96 96.43.17-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: nvidia-96 kernel module failed to build
Public bug reported:
nvidia-96 refuses to install on a fresh copy of 11.04 and says it has
broken packages and unmet dependencies. I removed all instances of
nvidia and xorg with synaptic and reverted to the lucid xorg so I was
able to install nvidia-96. After reboot there is a system freeze and a
system error in failsafe X.
