Hi,

I'd forgotten I'd sent in this bug report.

The issue at heart I think is KDE.  I had changed the font that was used for icons in the icon view, and when using the alternative font (which actually was just the default font 1px larger), the allocated space for text was 
far too small.

I fixed it by making the text width 'huge'.

FYI the settings I'm referring to are (in Dolphin) Settings > Configure
Dolphin > View Modes > Icons

I don't think that it should be doing what it's doing, but I think that
it's a KDE issue not a driver/Ubuntu one.
