[Bug 798007] [NEW] [Oneiric] Latest mesa (7.10.3) breaks 3D with nvidia-current

Public bug reported:

Latest mesa upgrade from 7.10.2 to 7.10.3 breaks 3D capabilites.
Gnome-shell falls back to gnome-panel.
This happens in my setup with Nvidia graphics card and latest nvidia-current (275.09.07) in use.

The .xsession-errors file gives this message:

gnome-session-is-accelerated: No hardware 3D support.
gnome-session-check-accelerated: Helper exited with code 256
gnome-session[1113]: WARNING: Session 'gnome' runnable check failed: Exited with code 1

So 3D is not anymore working with 7.10.3 mesa.
Downgrading to 7.10.2 solves this issue.

** Affects: mesa (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
