Message #134092
[Bug 806962] [NEW] Pinch to zoom and other Multitouch features not working.
Public bug reported:
Hi I have a Synaptics touchpad which supports three finger tapping,
pinch to zoom and circular scroll (rotate finger right to scroll down,
rotate left to scroll up etc.), but none of these feature currently work
in Ubutnu. Since they are features that have now been around for a very
long time, I am curious if these are issues that will ever be fixed?
Particularly the lack of pinch to zoom on on Websites and other
applications that require reading is quite primitive, as I am a disabled
person with poor vision and this facility is much easier and more
convenient that the built in 'magnifying glass' solution that simply
zooms everything.
Two finger scrolling and tapping does work though, but that is the only
features that are enabled.
I believe these omissions are now serious enough to be considered a bug.
