Public bug reported:

New deb package 8.861-0ubuntu3 moves extra modules from /usr/lib/xorg
/extra-modules to /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xorg/extra-modules breaking
XOrg in natty.

Simply recreating link in /usr/lib/xorg/extra-modules fixes the problem.
