[Bug 820832] [NEW] xorg 100% when scrolling in gnome terminal
Public bug reported:
When gnome-terminal starts scrolling continuosly (i.e. tailing a log),
the Xorg cpu usage bumps up to 100% and my machine becomes deadly slow
(even though it's a 8 cores westmere). This problem was visible on 10.10
but with 11.04 it became much more evident.
Please note that I use Xorg with Xinerama and nvidia dual head (one
screen on landscape mode and another logical screen made of 2 physical
screens in portrait mode linked together by nvidia dual head)
Thanks,
Vincenzo
