[Bug 774297] [NEW] screen does not redraw properly

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I attach a screen shot showing a mysterious redraw. Blue background is
painted  on the menu area. Before I took the screen shot I pressed the
"system" menu and it was redrawn immediately. This has happened several
times before.

Natty is installed and I use a traditional Ubuntu look.
