Public bug reported:

Both Live & installed Oneiric suddenly the screen and mouse pointer
freeze and keyboard doesn't work.  Only thing that works is the physical
power off button.

Effectively Xorg froze and can't even get a command line since keyboard
is useless.

This is with Unity-3D.  Let me try Unity-2D.
