Message #139293
[Bug 850923] [NEW] Two-finger scrolling is off by default
Public bug reported:
Problem occurs with: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.4.1-1ubuntu1, Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1
Does not occur with: Mac OS X
1. Log in to a guest session.
2. Open something that scrolls, like a Web page.
3. Try to scroll with two fingers.
What happens: Nothing.
What should happen: Scrolling.
The default is edge scrolling, which (as far as I know) is both less
common and harder to use.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
