[Bug 858201] [NEW] System fails to resume after suspend
Public bug reported:
Asus k52j laptop - when I close the lid, fan kicks into high gear and it
gets really hot and stays that way until I force a shut down. When I
open the lid, display is blank and machine is unresponsive. This
happened with 11.04, too.
The following workaround has fixed the problem for me in both 11.04 and
11.10, but I thought it would have been fixed after one whole release
cycle, and I see the problem is still here in 11.10 beta 2. It would be
nice to see it work right out of the box.
