Message #141079
[Bug 859628] [NEW] [gm45] False GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x01800020
Public bug reported:
I plugged my reciever (which my TV is also connected to) to my laptop through the HDMI port and it worked fine. When I plugget my monitor to my laptop through the VGA port, the laptops own screen went off and the external monitor started to show a distorted image of my desktop (that I could interact with, but I couldn't see what I was interacting with).
I had to switch to a console to kill Xorg and reboot, since I got an error that the gnome session couldn't be started.
