Hi,

I installed Ubuntu (Natty) on my Dell Latitude D830.  So far, so good -- except that the SVideo out feature of the video card doesn't work.  This computer dual boots with windows XP and the svideo port works just fine under XP. 
I have seen MULTIPLE UNRESOLVED YET CLOSED FORUM THREADS ON THIS!!!!!!   INCLUDING ONE JUST STARTED LAST WEEK!!!!!
Why close the thread if a solution has not yet been presented?  
Doing so is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY FRUSTRATING AND ITS THE REASON I GAVE UP ON LINUX THE FIRST TIME I TRIED IT.....   
PLEASE THINK ABOUT PEOPLE'S FRUSTRATION BEFORE BLATANTLY IGNORING THEM.  
ALSO TELLING PEOPLE TO CHANGE A SETTING WITHOUT TELLING THEM HOW TO DO SO IS JUST AS BAD, IF NOT WORSE.....  THANKS!!!
