[Bug 404638] [NEW] "enable touchpad" setting has no effect in karmic
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I'm using 32-bit Ubuntu karmic (9.10).
After a recent update and reboot, the "Enable touchpad" setting in
System>>Preferences>>Mouse has no effect. The touchpad works even if
that setting is enabled.
I would like the touchpad to be disabled.
I'm currently working around this issue by unloading the "psmouse"
kernel module.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
