Message #144795
[Bug 880530] [NEW] Xorg freeze
Public bug reported:
Since installing Ubuntu 11.10 when my monitor is idol and turns off when
i go to wake it up about half the time it results in a white screen that
fades through gray to black. Most of the time I can close the monitor on
my laptop and get the login screen, but occasionally this does not work
and occasionally it also occurs on start up. Any help would be great
because I really like 11.10 and don't want to have to go back to 11.04.
Thanks,
-Ben
