[Bug 886084] [NEW] Orange rectangle flushed either to left or right appears

Public bug reported:

every time when I switch between virtual screens an orange rectangle
just like in the screenshot appears and stays right their either flushed
towards left or right and goes away once I restore the application
window running on the virtual screen from its maximized state.
Application window that is running does not matter; I have tested same
problem with a number of applications such as firefox, eclipse or gedit
and so on. I t appears to be like a place holder waiting to show
something.
