[Bug 887042] [NEW] package nvidia-current 195.36.24-0ubuntu1~10.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: nvidia-current kernel module failed to build

just compiled kernel 3.0.8 with make oldconfig... hardware drivers gui
erroneously showed nvidia driver as still being active. the card is an
xfx nvidia 7600gt 256mb rev a.
