I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 on ExoPC notebook

which has touchscreen:

   vendor  : 0xeef
   product : 0x72a1
   version : 528
   name    : "eGalax Inc. USB TouchController"
   phys    : "usb-0000:00:1a.0-1/input0"
   uniq    : ""
   bits ev : EV_SYN EV_KEY EV_ABS

Touchscreen is working (without multitouching). But when used a short time (1 minute to 1 hour) touchscreen is not responding any more. I can then attach USB-mouse and USB-keyboard to check system is still running. E.g. xev doesn't give any events from touchscreen then. Rebooting computer solves.
