[Bug 420671] [NEW] UXA indirectly rendered and causes freezes on Intel 945GME
Public bug reported:
Compiz is slow and uses a lot of CPU. After a half-hour or so of
computer usage, Xorg crashes and I can't Ctrl+Alt+F<n> to a different
prompt.
Right now I am in Karmic and am using UXA (as it is my only choice).
This happened in Jaunty, as well, when I tried UXA instead of EXA (which
worked perfectly).
mindvirus@~$ glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: No (LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT set)
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GME GEM 20090712 2009Q2 RC3 x86/MMX/SSE2
