Message #19591
[Bug 420304] Re: XDM Logo is the Debian Logo
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xdm
$lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04
$apt-cache policy xdm
xdm:
Installed: 1:1.1.8-5
Candidate: 1:1.1.8-5
Version table:
*** 1:1.1.8-5 0
500 https://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I installed xdm and started it with /etc/init.d/xdm start and the login
box has a debian logo and identifies the box as debian install
This should display the ubuntu logo and identify the box as an ubuntu
install
This is set in /etc/X11/xdm/Xresources
line 71 xlogin*logoFileName: /usr/share/X11/xdm/pixmaps/debian.xpm
line 73 xlogin*logoFileName: /usr/share/X11/xdm/pixmaps/debianbw.xpm
