Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

I have a sutttle box with a ATI RS480.
with the latest Karmic updates using the open source radeon driver the xserver is able to detect my 2 monitors.

the VGA--0 works fine and I can use the Ubuntu tool to change resolutions.
If I disable VGA-0 and enable DVI-0, I can't seem to get any image on the monitor connected to DVI-0.

I tried using the ubuntu Display Preferences tool, but I was not able to
make the DVI-0 connected monitor display any image.

I also tried this on the cmd line
xrandr --output DVI-0 --off
xrandr --output DVI-0 --same-as VGA-0 --mode 1920x1080

but got no results.

only the monitor connect to VGA-0 display any image.
