[Bug 426970] [NEW] Enabling the radeonhd driver on an x1550 fails...

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd

When I force "radeonhd" as the driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (as opposed
to "vesa") X fails to start.

Running a Radeon X1550, hoping to get 3D accelerated video working.

My system stops responding, I can't switch to text consoles. ctrl-alt-
del still triggers a reboot however.

Running Karmic.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
