Binary package hint: xorg

Did a release upgrade to karmic to start trying it out.

After reboot the gdm login took a while to come up. Then when I logged
in I see a blank screen which flashes a few times and then I get
returned to the gdm login screen which becomes unresponsive.

ctrl+alt+f1 no longer brings up a console, however I can ssh in.

$ lspci -nn | grep VGA
