Public bug reported:

I have a system with dual Nvidia 7800GT. When only using one it all
works fine. I can use compiz, play games like Warcraft 3 through wine
and Hereos of newerth native. In nvidia-settings both cards show up and
seem to be responsive.
When I add:
Option "SLI" "On"
in my screen section and restart GDM, GDM starts fine and I can login.
My desktop loads up and everythings working. However, when I try to
start a game it hangs precisely at the point where the 3d graphics are
usually loaded. ctrl+alt+backspace doesn't work, can't switch to another
tty. Can't do anything else but poweroff my system with the button and
restart.
The same thing happen with certain compiz animations.
I've tested the SLI configuration in windows XP. And it works like a
charm.
This is my first ever bug report, so I apologise if I've missed
anything. Let me know what to check and I'll attach it ASAP.
