Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

I downloaded the Ubuntu karmic alpha-6 live CD and put it on my USB
stick. When I started it, the xsplash screen appears. The screen goes
black and then the xsplash screen reappears. The screen goes black again
and then the xsplash screen reappears. This continues ten times until I
pressed ctlr+alt+f1 and the xsplash freezes.

If I selected to install Ubuntu instead of starting the live
environment, then I can install Ubuntu. In the installed system I have
no problems.
