Message #22856
[Bug 434999] [NEW] I am using 17 inch Samsung CRT Syncmaster monitor. But Ubuntu detects it as 15 inch and does not give the option to resolution 1280X1024.
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
I am using ubuntu 9.10 amd64 with Intel 945 motherboard. This might help
though I have issued the command and 'apport' collected the data.
