Hi Timo,
Are you sure Bug 435011 and 439138 are duplicates?
The 439138 guys are saying that they can log out and back in as a
workaround, and that the 100% CPU power grab occurs just after the
initial log-in. That is not my experience at all.
In 435011, the computer initially boots normally and runs normally for
several hours or days. After this, Xorg CPU usage climbs, the
computer becomes totally unresponsive, and I can only recover with
Ctrl-SysRq-R-E-I-S-U-B or by cycling the power. (very similar to Bug
#434416 except different hardware.)
I appreciate you looking into this bug.
