Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Problem occurs with: Ubuntu 9.10 beta (all updates installed), MacBook rev3 (early 2008)
Does not occur with: Ubuntu 9.04

1. In System > Preferences > Mouse > Touchpad, turn on "Two-finger scrolling".
2. Restart the computer.
3. Reopen System > Preferences > Mouse > Touchpad.

What happens: The scrolling settings have been forgotten.
What should happen: The scrolling settings should have been remembered.

Bug 38617 is a similar problem dating from 2006. Bug 411083 and bug
399902 are also similar, but lack hardware information.
