[Bug 453438] [NEW] Return to HDMI output on LCD TV, makes xorg relogin or simply output nothing

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

When I boot my fit-pc2 hardware (using poulsbo graphics) it all works fine, if the hdmi output on the tv (where the pc is connected) is active.
If I, after successfull boot, switch over to some other input (watch tv for instance) and then return to the HDMI input, the screen either stays blank and tv says "no signal" or ubuntu shows a "login screen" with a message about the normal user will be logged in in 5,4,3.. seconds (I have enabled autologin).
This means that I often have to reboot the box, or just start over with what I was doing, since it starts on a blank desktop (which actually starts mythtv- but I'm not left where I were).

I've attached Xorg.0.log - at line 1183 is where I switch back to hdmi
input om my lcd tv (an LG LCD 37LY95)
