[Bug 453620] [NEW] Graphical Glitches and OpenGL apps Hard Freeze Radeon driver

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-radeon

Ububtu Jaunty and Karmic 64Bit. Radeon 9500 and Radeon 9800SE. Major
graphical glitches mostly on fonts on desktop and applications. OpenGL
apps eg Armagetron freeze whole system only a hard power off/on
recovers. Tested with OpenSUSE 11.1 LiveCD and that works great with
no problems on the same hardware. The xorg.conf "Option
"MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"" Seems to fix the text and graphical
artifacts but OpenGL apps hard lock still. Attached is a screen shot of
the artifacts/glitches on the 9800SE card.
