[Bug 455259] [NEW] [karmic] Resolutions Not Correctly Detected
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
darrenm@darrenm-laptop:~$ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 2304 x 768, maximum 2640 x 768
LVDS connected 1280x720+1024+48 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 331mm x 207mm

1024x768 59.9

VGA-0 connected 1024x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 372mm x 301mm
1360x768 59.8
1024x768 75.0* 70.1 60.0
832x624 74.6
800x600 72.2 75.0 60.3 56.2
640x512 75.0
640x480 75.0 72.8 75.0 66.7 59.9
720x405 70.0
720x400 70.1
640x360 70.0
HDMI-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
This is incorrect, it supported 1280x800 on LVDS in Jaunty and 1280x1024
on VGA-0 in Jaunty before this dist-upgrade.
I would have reported this with ubuntu-bug if it allowed use behind
proxies.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
