Ivos,

I am reading the thread. I'm in the same situation you are, and appreciate
your comments. Now, when I upgrade to Karmic, I will know what to expect. I
am just another user, not a developer.

I share your frustration, and I very much appreciate knowing what's
happening with other users in the same situation.
