[Bug 461839] [NEW] Administrative Control Centre does not work (wrong sudo-method)
Public bug reported:
Hello.
This is in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (RC).
After installing the "fglrx-amdcccle"-package, I get two links in "Applications - Accessories" (My setup is in Norwegian, so I'm taking a guess on the names here...):
- ATI Catalyst Control Center
- ATI Catalyst Control Center (Administrative)
But the "Administrative"-link does not work. I get the error (And again, I'll have to translate this from Norwegian):
"Could not start <<ATI Catalyst Control Center (Administrative)>>. Error while running under-process <<amdxdg-su>> (No such file or directory)".
It is trying to execute the command: "amdxdg-su -c amdcccle" , but
'amdxdg-su' does not exist on my system.
I guess it should read "gksu amdcccle" ??
Kind regards from Norway,
Jørn.
