Public bug reported:

When I boot my Dell Latitude D630 while its connected to an DELL
Dockingstation which is connected to a second monitor the boot process
stops working. I get a blank screen and after some time the cooler is
start working (something is done).

Because I am not able to go to a shell ctrl-alt+Fx does not work I can't figure out what is goning on.
Same behavior if I start up in failsafe mode and type startx.

If I start the notebook outside the dock and attach it later on,
everything works fine.

I have configured my system to use autologon.
