[Bug 464874] [NEW] [Intel GM965] Slow and tearing scrolling with composite enabled
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Hello,
I found this problem again in Karmic. These bug was marked as invalid (by me). I am reporting it again with newest drivers (2.9.0) and newest mesa 7.6.0. Kernel what I am using is 2.6.31-14.
If i have compiz or native mesa composite enabled then scrolling became "tearing" slow and annoying (in Firefox, OpenOffice apps etc.) - try page http://www.webupd8.org/ (try it with / without composite enabled on Intel GM965)... with metacity all works fine.
There was workaround with swapbuffers, but it doesn't actually works in Karmic.
Sorry for my English.
Regards
Charvát aka dog.big
