[Bug 472960] Re: Can't display 1920x1080, only as high as 1280x720 for 16:9

 

When you cay "I can't go past" what do you mean?  Does X become
corrupted or crash when set to that resolution?  According to your
xrandr output X certainly supports that resolution.  Could you please
explain more precisely what goes wrong.

Are you using the xrandr command line tool to set the resolution?  If
not, can you try that?

 $ xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1920x1080

** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
