[Bug 473098] Re: Switching user makes graphics slow for second user
It's because 3D HW acceleration is only available for the first logged
in user. Known issue. This was recently fixed on -intel but I think it
remains unimplemented for -ati.
As a workaround, you may find better performance by turning off
compositing for the second user.
