[Bug 474930] [NEW] Ubuntu Server 9.10 crashes when run headless
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
If an installation of Ubuntu 9.10 Server Edition is booted and running
headless (only power and ethernet cord attached), the server will lock
up after around 10 minutes. It will not respond to ping, ssh, http, or
any other request.
The server must be hard rebooted by holding the power button or
unplugging it.
It appears that attaching a monitor and keyboard to the server box keeps
it from crashing.
Possibly Intel video card related.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
