Binary package hint: xorg

I am not able to change resolution of this monitor.  
The UltraScan P991 color monitor has the following features:
    * Optimal Resolution & Refresh: 1024 x 768 at 75 Hz or 85Hz
    * VIS (viewable image size):	  457 mm (17.952 inches)
    * Aperture Grill Pitch:  0.24 (center) - 0.25 mm (edge)

The 1024 x 768 resolution was working on my previous version of Ubuntu,
but after upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic) the resolution was lost.

I ran the "ubuntu-bug xorg" command from the terminal and output should
be attached to this bug report.
