[Bug 401112] Re: NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i, upgrade of kernel causes NVIDIA driver to break
BLewis, I suspect your bug was because you were running karmic from
before when nvidia had been updated for karmic's kernel. That's now
fixed so I think we can close your bug. However if you are still having
this problem after installing the karmic release and updating with the
latest changes, please file a new bug using 'ubuntu-bug xorg' - that
will attach information we need for debugging this problem.
Neo, I think you may actually be seeing a separate bug which just has
similar symptoms to this one. I think bug 47491 or bug 438398 might be
a better match to your issue. If not, please file a new bug; we'd want
to see your nvidia make.log too.
