Message #34497
[Bug 482447] [NEW] serial wacom not detected in Karmic
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: wacom-tools
Related to #424620 in Jaunty.
On Karmic, modify xorg.conf doesn't works anymore to access to serial
tablet.
wacdump still detect the serial tablet attached at ttyUSB0:
MODEL=Wacom Intuos 9x12 ROM=1.1-7
CLS=Serial VNDR=Wacom DEV=Intuos SUB=GD-0912-R
But this table is even not seen as a classic cursor tablet.
Could this be related to HAL ?
There is a file : /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi
Is a link to : /etc/hal/fdi/policy/ needed ? Is there some serial number to add in this file ?
Every information is welcome.
** Affects: wacom-tools (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
