Binary package hint: xorg

After the upgrade to Karmic my desktop was black, but I still had the panel and could use compiz.
Then I found this:

After the changes to /etc/X11/xorg.conf my desktop was back but 3D was disabled.
This card always worked fine with other releases of Kubuntu.

I use the driver from this ppa:

After I read about it on the blog of Mr. Harrington.
When I start the pc I get a message that I can only use Ubuntu in a low resolution, and then it starts in the right resolution.

My system is:

Distribution: Kubuntu Karmic with  the latest updates.
Monitor: AGneovo F-417 with resolution 1280 x1024
GPU: ATI Radeon 9250

I am reporting this because this is the only way I can help to make
K/Ubuntu beter.
